Over 60s gardening project.

Help restore Easthill Park's historic walled garden

Every Thursday from 2pm to 3.30pm, followed by coffee and cake in the Park Cafe.


No previous gardening experience required, although keen gardeners welcome.


We also welcome those in the early stages of dementia, or carers seeking a break.


You do not need to come every session - just when you feel like it


The gardening club starts on April 5th, and runs until September 6th

The 1968 Coffee and cake club


Informal chat, meeting new people and a range of classic board games such as Scrabble, Connect Four, and Kerplunk. If you don't fancy playing any games, simply sit with your coffee, read the paper, and enjoy the fresh park air.


Every Tuesday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. First session starts May 8th and runs until September 4th.

No need to book - just turn up at the cafe



World Cup cooking club

Learn to cook some basic dishes from countries in the World Cup. Cook, chat and watch the football - all in our new training kitchen here at Easthill Park. Here are the matches we will be covering:

Egypt v Uruguay   June 15th at 1pm. Food on offer includes camel sausages and Eygptian hummus

Brazil v Costa Rica   June 22nd at 1pm. Fod on offer includes Brazilian nachos

Japan v Poland   June 28th at 3pm. Japanese noodles with chicken or veg

July 2nd. Last 16 matches. TBC

Health walks

Gentle strolls of about 45 minutes, followed by tea and buscuits at the Park Cafe.
